Question: Why do I need to read the booking conditions?
Answer:
These documents, usually referred to as the Booking Conditions, or “The Terms and Conditions” (T&Cs).
This document is the foundation of your agreement with the Charity Trust, and is clearly a key document. “The answer” to many of the questions we receive on a daily basis are actually answered by reference to the Booking Conditions. If you encounter a problem that is not covered within this document, please inform us, we are happy to help.
Question: I can’t see the cost of the extra tables that we require?
Answer:
The tables and chairs are included in the basic hire of the two halls (the Barton Hall & St Andrews Hall). We will need to know how many additional guests you require seated, especially if you are alfresco dining and your proposed food arrangements.
Question: Can I hire the Kitchen as well as the St Andrews Hall?
Answer:
The Kitchen forms part of the Barton Hall, depending on your requirements and your use of the kitchen we will be reliant on the kitchen being available at your chosen time.
We are able to set-up a drinks & snacks area within the St Andrews Hall, please forward your requirements. Outside caterers can also provide food and beverages for your event. Another option would be to hire both halls, please contact us if you are unsure of the situation.
Question: Can we bring our own alcoholic drinks into the halls?
Answer:
The short answer is yes you can. However, we are a licenced premises within a residential area, there are firm conditions that apply.

Question: Why do you not have rubbish bins?
Answer:
We do not have trade rubbish bins, we provide “in house” bins and “starter” black bin bags.
We do not expect our volunteers to have to deal with customer’s rubbish. We ask that you take your own rubbish home and bring additional bin bags with you as required.
Question: Do you have a store area where I can keep my floor mats, please?
Answer:
Unfortunately not, our cupboards are for the use of MVHT and the day to day running of the halls.
Question: Do you have a Freezer in the Kitchen?
Answer:
Unfortunately not, we can arrange mobile freezers depending on your requirements.
