The Table-Top Fairs started life in the days of the Malpas Regatta where the residents would set up a table outside their home overlooking the river. Unfortunately, due to insurance costs we can no longer run the Regatta.

Our very own Social Committee and Friends of Malpas Village Hall come together several times a year and set up our Table-Top Fairs within the halls.

Malpas Village Hall supports Local Traders, and we encourage small businesses without premisses to approach us and book an indoor table at one of our Fairs.

Summertime Fairs can be outside on the patio or in the small side garden depending on the forecast. On inclement days we are in the dry and warm.

Our Artists produce all original art and crafters high quality hand made goods. This eclectic mix brings together the best independent makers, collectors, designers, and creatives from our area.

Shop cool & unique, you will find fashion, homewares, artisan crafts, art and products. Support small businesses by shopping local at our unique twist on the traditional craft market.

Dust off those January blues and join us for our first fair of 2026. We will have an array of Table-Tops alongside coffee and cakes. The perfect opportunity to meet up with friends, enjoy a hot drink and cake, sit and relax and enjoy the view over the Truro River.

In Addition to the above

The Social Committee & Friends of MVH have their own tables.

They run the best Decorated Cake Competition; they must taste good too! For some reason they are never short of judges.

There is usually a Grand Raffle with a cash prize and the legendary Mystery Bottle Stall

Is it a bottle of whisky or is it fizzy water!
