At Malpas Village Hall we can offer a comforting Celebration of Life. You may be thinking of a traditional service or a direct cremation, either way, we can provide a private intimate gathering space for all your friends and family.

A "celebration of life" is a ceremony/gathering that honours a deceased person's life rather than focusing on the sadness of their death, often held in place of or alongside a traditional funeral.

These events are typically more informal and can be customised to reflect the individual's personality, with common elements including sharing happy memories, playing their favourite music, and incorporating hobbies or interests.

The choice is completely yours, focusing on positivity, celebrating the life lived and the joy the person brought to others. Personalise you’re gathering to be unique to the individual or a simple tea, coffee and cake.

You can have finger food of your choice delivered to the door at your chosen time, or bring your own - so many possibilities.

We provide a less formal atmosphere where friends may be encouraged to share memories and experiences, of the person they lost, with an overall tone, more upbeat than a traditional funeral.

Our Barton Hall has a fully equipped kitchen area, tables and chairs to your own design, an elevated patio area with seating, views over the Truro River and beyond and a disabled lift from street level.
